I’m sure there’s a good reason, but I’m failing to see it: Why is there not an option to show grid in the display panel?

Hi Ernest,
We tried to keep the Display panel as simplified as possible due to the vast number of display mode settings available. In this case, the Grid settings are to use the document defaults so they aren’t exposed in the display mode itself. If however you change the display mode to use mode specific grid settings you’ll get check boxes in the Display panel.
