accessing grashopper3d.com I’m redirected to Grasshopper - algorithmic modeling for Rhino.
As far as I know, I’m not even registered, on this site, so I’m not sure why I get this.

Thanks for reporting, I’m getting the same here.
WHOIS reports grasshopper.3d.com is owned by McNeel. So it should be fixed fairly soon.

I filed a bug report WWW-2608 on this recently, the issue appears to be a Mac only one.
I think this is maybe location dependent rather than Mac specific. If I switch my VPN location, it shows as blocked from some countries but not others.
When the URL is mis-typed, it will fail consistently! The first post of this thread spelled it wrong.
grashopper3d.com (WRONG) instead of grasshopper3d.com (CORRECT)

Still works for me: Is that “old site” being abandoned without any warning? It contains a HUGE amount of GH history so is still relevant 
Losing it would be tragic, the mystery is pathetic.
