Grasshopper/ polysurface division and surface flow

Dear all,

A project did by architecture studio ten years ago is about to be completed in China. I think of a question about the subdivision and flow of polysurfaces.
How can they archieve it in GH? Is it completely manual?

In GH, the flow of polysurfaces is related to the uv direction, which is often difficult to solve, although there are plug-ins now, such like SHAPE MAP it is still not perfect.
Does anyone know the tips of polysurface flow? Solve the problem of UV direction, especially the problem of seam at the corner.
