At McNeel Europe we currently work on new Rhinoceros booklets for our European resellers. We would like to invite you to provide us interesting graphics of your design/ research project in different fields such as algorithmic design (Grasshopper, Scripting), design (industrial, marine, fashion), jewellery, architecture and engineering (bim, analysis, simulation), visualisation (rendering, layout).
We look for simple graphics (if possible .png images of 250 dpi with a transparent or white background or a vector PDF). Of course your name, company/ institution, project will be referenced. Please send it to verena@mcneel.com. Thanks for your help. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!
Hi Verena, can you define “simple graphics” and explain why that is desired? Also at what size do you want those 250dpi images? 10x15 cm? 2x3cm? (It affects the number of pixles they need to have)
Hi Holo, the size of the image can vary as we will put together different projects/ references. By “simple graphics” I mean self-explanatory clean graphics of your project/ research idea/ art work/ etc… Does that help?
Hi Verena,
dpi is married to size, so to indicate a quality both are required. In example full A4 at 250dpi is 2000x3000 px, 10x15 cm is 1000x1500 px. I would recommend asking for 2000x3000 so you have a set of high quality images for all kinds of use down the road.
And yeah, it helps, white background, easy to read images. To show off both complexity, surface quality and project diversity? Or are there any other intentions behind the booklet?
Hi Holo, do you want to participate and send some of your references, too?

Hi Verena
Could you please share your e-mail where I could send a link to some of my works without revealing it to public yet?
Sure, I am not only trying to be difficult
It was announced in the initial post;)
