Graphic Cards for Mac

I am wondering what the tech specs for graphics cards would be the recommended. I am looking to do some beefy renders.
Min specs as posted on the website are AMD graphics processor recommended on Intel Macs and a 4GB video card on a pc.

I am looking at the Mac Studio. They list their video specs as

Hardware-accelerated H.264, HEVC, ProRes and ProRes RAW
Video decode engine
Two video encode engines
Two ProRes encode and decode engines

What does this even equate too? Is this plenty for beefy renders using rhino render?

Unfortunately, it’s not as straightforward as simply comparing x86 to arm hardware, although all the cool YouTube click-baiters make it seem that way!
The Mac Studio is surely a capable computer, however Rhino 7 is currently not optimized for Apple Silicon and doesn’t even run natively.
Rhino 8 will run natively which should translate to a better performance, but the real potential of Apple Silicon won’t probably be unlocked, until they manage to implement the Metal framework in Rhino, which is also in the works.
A release date for Rhino 8 hasn’t been published yet, so you might have to be patient. Currently, I wouldn’t expect any wonders. Performance might well be underwhelming, even though the Mac Studio is a beast.

H.264, HEVC (H.265), ProRes (Raw) are video compression standards. These have nothing to do with Rhino.
