Graph editor handles not appearing

I cant find graph editor HANDLES to customize the speed

I think I figured it out. In the Bongo properties window there is a check box for 3D TWEENING. When it is check, there is no ability to change the graph type to CUSTOM. When it is unchecked, then I can select either X, Y or Z direction and change that graph to CUSTOM which then provides the handles to modify the graph
