Sorry, but the “grab” command to create button icons, which was available up to Rhino 7, I can no longer find in Rhino 8. Has it been removed or am I just not seeing it? How can I do it otherwise? Thanks!
If you are talking here about the ability to capture some pixels from somewhere on your screen to create a button image in the image editor, it has been removed. It is no longer there in V8 because native V8 icons are vector-based (SVG) and not raster-based (pixels) as in V7 and previous versions.
Okay. I thought so. It’s a pity not to have something similar because it was simple and convenient to use.

As Mitch noted, the Rhino 8 bottom image editor is now SVG-based.
I suppose it should be possible to copy-paste geometry into the editor as SVG is one of the formats that is placed on the clipboard anyway.
