Hi,

Some weird error with the Area and Volume Centroid components : they only work if Grasshopper1 is loaded in the background.

To reproduce :

- Start RhinoWIP
- Launch Grasshopper2
- Place a Centroid or VolumeComponent → Process Error
- Launch Grasshopper1
- Reload Solver → No more error

![Process Error when GH1 is not loaded.](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/mcneel/uploads/default/original/4X/7/9/9/79902c2c4a62b84511ba9cbb87cc16f3b1f44d85.jpeg)

![GH1 is loaded : no more Process Error, area and volume are properly evaluated.](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/mcneel/uploads/default/original/4X/1/7/b/17bc89d3fe6efa3693be72e5bf50485224cc8353.png)

PS : the components seems to work without GH1 for some geometries, like pure circles or rectangle created in GH2

As mentioned in a different thread, I’ve reported this issue with the Volume Centroid component. I have not been able to reproduce this with the Area Centroid component. Are you still see this? If so, please post a sample file.

Hi @wim,

I would say the contrary.. With latest Beta, Volume Centroid seems to work, but Area Centroid not. With last week’s Beta, none of these would compute.

This one computes correctly here when testing the fix that should become publicly available this evening.
