Hi @h.endo, Unfortunately this is to be expected, Civil 3D 2026.2.2 is the first 2026 Civil3d Service release which is using NET10, Rhino 8 has been updated in anticipation of this so it will load in NET 10 mode. But any Grasshopper plugin which has not been updated to support it will not load correctly. The best thing to do is update to the latest version of each plugin and if there is not one which supports NET10 you can always try to reach out to the plugin dev directly. This will be a recurring issue in the coming months as all the Autodesk products get forced onto NET10. But McNeel have done a lot of ground work to get the Inside projects to still work with this change where they can, but with all the third party plugins this becomes almost impossible.
They have a good write up here:
The advice for Revit in the article is very similar to what we need for Civil3d
Thanks
Thank you, I understand.
Could Rhino.Inside.Civil3D explicitly enable BinaryFormatter compatibility in the Civil 3D host process, similar to standalone Rhino, or is this intentionally avoided for security/host-compatibility reasons?
@h.endo BinaryFormatter has been removed from NET 10 so it would be difficult to support it for all versions we are currently offer, however, if you can describe the behaviour you are after potentially we can come up with another way to do what you want?
@Tom_Norris
I apologize for the delay in replying.
After updating Rhino 8 to the latest version (8.35), all Grasshopper packages are now visible; however, some packages are missing their icons. It would be extremely helpful for visual programming if those icons could be displayed.
@Tom_Norris
Hello, thank you for the quick response.
Your work is excellent.
However, there are still some packages that haven’t been fixed.
Packages where icons are not displaying:
TTToolbox (all icons) + some components missing
Anemone (all icons)
Wallacei (some icons)
@Tom_Norris
Hello,
I apologize for making an unreasonable request.
You are doing truly wonderful work, and I appreciate it.
The packages that previously had missing icons have largely been fixed.
⇒ Only Wallacei still has a few missing icons, but I think it is within an acceptable range.
The load errors that used to appear when launching Grasshopper are also gone.
