Getting Started with Plugin Licensing

Hi @dale ,
i´d like to ask/clarify a few questions:

  1. Does this only work on Windows and NOT on MacOs? (as it is stated in the Guides)

  2. When distributed via the package manager, is the Zoo plug-in automatically installed in the Zoo’s plug-in’s folder?

  3. Once i obtain a certificate, can i use it for multiple commands(.rhp files)/Zoo plug-ins in my plugin bundle?

  4. Do i have to write a Zoo plug-in for each command or could i use one for all of them?

Thanks

Hi @seppeldue,

Plug-ins written for Rhino for Mac can access the Zoo.

No. The Zoo software is generally not installed on the same system as Rhino. Plan on having a separate installation process for your Zoo plug-in.

Yes.

A single Zoo plug-in can support licensing for multiple products.

Let me know if this helps.
