Past few days I am getting notifications for a few topics in which I have neither posted, replied nor has anyone linked to me in… Odd. Did I accidentally flip a switch somewhere?
I got a notification of a solution today although I’m neither the OP nor the solution provider. I don’t think third parties normally get these?
There’s a check box under Preferences > Notifications called Solved one can uncheck. Does this when on:
Notify when a topic that I am Tracking or Watching is solved. Only applies to topics in categories that allow solutions.

Okay, is that new? I wasn’t aware that I was tracking anything… a couple of the threads I got notified about I don’t even recall having looked at.

OK, I turned that setting off - will see if that stops the spurious notifications, thanks.

For solved-ception this topic should receive also a solved check.
