Continuing the discussion from Wish: group command for marked layers:

I don’t think this is exposed in rhinoscriptsyntax, and I wasn’t able to find out if it is in RhinoCommon… If it is not exposed in RhinoCommon either, consider this a wish to have it so…

There is nothing available in the Rhino SDK that will provide this information. I’ve added your request to the wish list.

OK, thanks Dale, I was afraid of that - it would be good (but not urgent) to have access, this has come up a couple of times in the past, IIRC.
