Getting CSV Cutting format planking sizes using Grasshopper + Archicad liveconnect

Hi!

I am quite new to Grasshopper so excuse me profanity.

I was looking for a way how to export Archicad furniture model into Cutting sizes using Grasshopper liveconnect. I found one Youtube video that explain this process.

Author of video shared grasshopper definition file, but it seems that link expired, and there is no way to communicate with author.

I was able to replicate Grasshopper definition based on video to some extend. I am attaching that file. However I am stuck on step where it filter planks with sizes 32 and 16 mm. It doesn’t work in my definition. I assume I should somehow configure Grasshopper elements to filter data, but I am not sure how.

Here is screenshot of step.

Thank you in advance for help!

I am adding my definition file.

not many are going to have this plugin, best to internalize after those components.

@Rickson ! thx for response.
Do you mean that it would be easier if I remove those components from schema, so more people could open and run definition?

Hi,
If u don’t have ArchiCAD it’s gone be hard…
After installing ArchiCAD u have to install the plugin ArchiCAD Grasshopper live connection.
In this example th author is importing a morph object from ArchiCAD.

yes, right click internalize data after the plugin components (then delete them) or its difficult if not impossible to see what is going on. So if its a string of numbers put a floating point component in and internalize that data.

Hi @Aziz.BOUKARA!
I have everything installed. Archicad, Rhino, live connection. But it fails on step that I described.
Live connection is working fine. But for some reason on step where author show “planks with 32 mm and 16 mm sizes are filtered” it does not work for me.

the filtering method seems suspect, this can be done without the key value search or item index component

Can u drop me 'r files her. both, ArchiCAD and Grasshopper.
U have Rhino 6 ou Rhino 7 ?

I know that there is no live connection with Rhino7… :frowning:

I am using Archicad 22 and Rhino 6. Which files do you mean? archicad project?
