Hello,
I have a geometry that upon baking varies from the original shape it has. I cannot figure out what is wrong.
Any help, please?unnamed.gh (7.1 KB) Untitled.3dm (33.2 KB)

I guess you have a similar problem that the linked topics do.
Try to change your render mesh quality to “Custom” or just rebuild(or Refit)your curve from low to high degree.
I have the same issue as in this thread: Extrude surface distortion but in GH.
I am extruding a surface created from some text:
[extrude_srf]
As you can see on the inside of the D there is an error similar to the thread above.
If I bake the surface and extrude in Rhino with normal options I get the same error. If I switch on “Split at Tangents” it works fine.

Is there a reason why that option didn’t make it to Grasshopper? I can’t see any good reason why it wouldn’t.

Greetings to all,
I have a question regarding what appears to be a display discrepancy, but maybe not?
So I am dealing with some planar shapes, which I then thicken:

notice that here meshing is disabled:

with meshing enabled, the geometries look like this:

so…
meshing disabled shows the quality I want:

meshing enabled doesn’t:

After baking (regardless of meshing disabled or enabled), I get this,
where regions marked with an ‘x’ are what …
Rebuilding the curve did the trick for me. Thanks again, @HS_Kim
Unfortunately, rebuilding changes my curve on some corners

Try to use Fit Curve instead.
