Mesh Surface to solid Mesh with Grasshopper

You can create a bounding box around your mesh, scale it so there is a good intersection and then subtract the mesh with the normals flipped from the box. [image] [image] mesh_difference.gh (46.6 KB)

Question about mesh ngons

Hello! Got a terrain mesh, which I want to make ‘solid’. [image] Command FillMeshHole will cap this: [image] Hoever, these triangle fans are less pretty. Is there a way to get rid of them in one go? Meshes can indeed contain ngons. Proof: command 3DFace can produce a face with as many vertices as needed (not just 3 or 4). Thanks!
