Hi guys, I would really appreciate if you can help me finish my algorithm in Grasshopper. As you can see in the attached snapshots, I created some points starting from a particular geometry. Those points describe the geometry’s shape (faces and vertices). Based on this, I would create a solids or surfaces that follow these points. Do you think is that possible?
Why don’t you morph the existing geometry?
Many things are possible but not necessarily advised. In other words, probably not the best approach.
Asking questions and getting answers is what this forum is all about. Although people are generally very helpful, there are things you can do to improve your chances of getting good and quick answers. Below you will find some suggestions, but don’t think of them as rules and especially don’t think of them as guarantees.
1. Choose a descriptive title for your post
Don’t title your question Help! or I have a problem or Deadline tonight!, but actually describe the problem you are having.
2. Be s…
3. Attach minimal versions of all the relevant files
P.S. Is this a continuation of your other thread (where you also didn’t post a file) :
Hi everyone and thanks in advance for your help. I’m new in grasshopper, i just started to use it and I think that it’s a tool suitable for what I need. I read manuals and had a look at tutorials, but nothing seems to help. The aim of my work is to develop an algorithm that can create a solid perspective of any geometry. Is there anyone that did something similar using Rhino? I’m looking for suggestions.
Here some useful informations about solid perspective and what i need to do
