Generate shell of an object - occurring artefacts

Hi,

I tried to create a shell from a object. In the case that it work’s it will look like the following picture:
on the left side is the object as an entire block. And on the right side is the object as a hollowed-out block (a shell was created with the command “shell”).

Now I have tried the same for another object. The result is at the following pictures:
on the left side is the object as an entire block. And on the right side is the object as a hollowed-out block (a shell was created with the command “shell”).

As you can see, there are some artefacts or defective surfaces in the upper region, where the radius is the strongest.
I also tried to create a parallel surface from the object, but the same artefacts appear.

How can I now create a shell of my object? If the artefacts on the surfaces are easy to edit, so I can correct the errors myself. But how?

Hi, here is the file, thank youshell.3dm (5.0 MB)

You need to tidy up your geometry a bit:

Many thanks  I have already assumed that it has to do with the marked curves of you. How did you clean up? Which commands or which proceed did you use?
