Generate Point Cloud(s) from a clip

I have a big point cloud of a building with some trees in front of it, I have made some clips to remove the trees and want to generate a new point cloud from this clip but when I try it crashes instantly. Is this actually possible or not?

We use software within Rhino called Veesus. This allows us to bring in our point clouds and manipulate them. In the Veesus tab there is a clipping tool that lets you draw around what you want/don’t want and basically hide it. After doing this clipping of the point cloud there is a “generate point cloud from clip” button which when I try to use it it crashes my Rhino and it’s back to square 1.
