Furniture Style not going to layer specified in attributes

I’ve created a custom furniture style for a ceiling fan and I would like for it to automatically be placed on a certain layer when I place them in the model. I’ve set it to this layer in the attributes, but it always comes . in on the furniture layers. This function has worked for me with other things, like annotation styles, but it doesn’t seem to work with furniture.

Thanks,
Sam

Hi Sam,
I think this is a bug, and we will revise it. However, if you edit how the VisualARQ objects are managed by Layers, (in Document Properties > VisualARQ > Layers), you can set the Furniture to “None” layer, so this will prevent from placing all furniture objects in the layer “Furniture” but in the current layer or the one where you have placed that specific Furniture style.

@seflorance, we have fixed this issue in VisualARQ 2.9 version. VisualARQ 2 - Version 2.9 released (for Rhino 5, 6 and 7)
