If I set up a Furniture object with a 3D and 2D block representation, when I copy it to another Rhino file. The furniture object is placed correctly the 3D block is added to the file, but it seems the 2D block representation is not imported into the new file at all.
Unsure if this is an individual bug or simply a function not implemented yet.
If you worksession a furniture object, the 2d representation with “PrintDisplay” “On” will be all black? No matter what setting you set for the representation of the 2D block.
But if the same furniture object is inside the file instead of worksessioned in, the representation is correct
Hi @lourencovp I’ve tested this with your model, and it worked fine in my case. The 3D model and 2D representation of the Furniture syle “PP_Bed_Queen” is properly copied from one file to another. However, I’ve noticed that the other style (“PP_Bed_King”) has a block for the 2D representation that is not displayed in the plan view. We will revise this.
For this bug, can you share the involved files? I’ve just tested it with the other file you sent me, but it prints fine, also when the furniture is not in the active file in a worksesssion.
Hi @lourencovp I’ve realized that the furniture that shows its 2D representation correctly has the “Plan Visibility” set to “Projection and Overhead”. The other one has it to “Projection” only. That means that its 2D representation won’t be visible unless it is located below the cut plane of the level where it is inserted.
