Fur geometry issue with GPU rendering

Hi,
I’m creating some electrical cables renderings and found out that using fur was a great solution.
But when I rendered I discovered that the end of the elements was too dark… after analyzing the issue I realized that the problem was just with GPU.
Unfortunately CPU render looks perfect but the time to render is much more.
Is this a know issue? is this related to drivers or memory limitation? because I tried with a simple scene which shouldn’t be recourses demanding for my Quadro P2000 5Mb and I have the latest Nvidia driver (552.86) and Vray update.6.20.05​

I think this is one of the GPU restrictions / optimizations to keep the model’s footprint as low as possible when it comes to VRAM. maybe @Nikolay has a workaround.
