you have some some self intersection in that surface going on that throws off the curve pulling algorithm, I think:

OK. Why does it work if I bake the curve and surface , and split in Rhino then ?

I don’t see that here, that’s what I tried to start with. I tested in 7 8 and wip

In any case that self intersection should be removed
