Hi hi! Trying to design a house of mirrors and would love to get a fully reflective mirror texture using Rhino’s native renderer.
Following up on a couple of other threads from previous versions:
Rhino 6 Mirror Material?
This was Pascal’s result:
Tried to open Pascal’s file and hit render and this is best I get:
How to create a mirror texture in rhino 7 mac
Tried a metal texture with zero roughness and full white and this is what I get:
Any tips folks? Thanks in advance!

I think you made a simple error?
Rough isn’t a percentage, it’s a degree of how polished the material is. Whack that 0 to 100, and see what that gives you.
It should probably be clearer, and just be roughness. This parameterisation is a bit confusing.
I’d be very curious to see your completed house of mirrors. I find Cycles to be very aggressive in attenuation of energy.

Ah yes, that was it David, I confused “Rough” with “Roughness = 0%”
Thanks so much!
