Frosted glass fog gradient

Hey all,

I’m attempting to render some windows on a building but I can’t get VRay to do quite what I want it to. The idea is to have a curtain wall of frosted glass covering the entire surface of the building, however where there are rooms, I want the glass to become transparent in a gradient pattern. I was hoping to achieve this by mapping gradient to the fog multiplier on the glass, however that option is unavailable. Can anyone suggest an alternative that could achieve the same affect. I can’t seem to achieve it using other maps.

fog controls the power of the glass refraction color so that thick glass is darker. I suppose so you need the map in the Refraction glossiness slot.
