From rhino to 3DS keeping materials

Hello,

I’m trying to learn something new, so I would like to create all vegetation for my project done and textured with Rhino+Vray, with the help of Forest pack in 3ds.

Is there a way to export a vrproxy which keep all the materials from Rhino to 3ds?
So I can just model the environment in 3ds…
