I’ve noticed that Rhino 8 no longer accepts fractional input directly in the Scale2D command line—for example, entering 102/95 now fails, whereas previous versions would evaluate this expression and apply the correct scale factor.
This was a subtle but powerful feature for precision workflows, especially when scaling between known dimensions. Has this functionality been intentionally removed, or is it a parsing bug in the latest release?
I’ve confirmed my installation is up to date. If this change was deliberate, I’d love to understand the rationale. If it’s a regression, I’d appreciate any guidance or timeline for restoration.
