Hello again McNeel forum. I’m ready to have the ball printed pending knowing how the magnet tangent vector will work. If someone agrees to do the printing I would work with that person to finalize an agreement and payment details, correct?
I’ve uploaded two diagrams - is there anything else you would need to program Rhino?
As I said previously, any magnet that attaches to the ball “at a point” would experience a magnetic pull to the metal ball. How can this be remedied?
Can holes be put in the sphere directly under the magnet to minimize any magnetic force? Can the magnet be very short but allow a light weight plastic extension that would not experience any pull?
This is a beta version so the legends are simplified. Future prints would include calculations.
