Fluted or ribbed surface

Hi everyone,
I’m a newbie to Rhino and hoping someone can point me in the right direction for creating a fluted surface on rings. I know this is very basic but have searched high and low and can’t seem to find information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :pray:

Hi Anna - the simplest is to make the shape curve that corresponds to that and extrude it
