Flow along surface problems

Hi I am trying to flow this image along the surface of a cylinder, this happens!!! (there are no naked or manifold edges on the polysurface I am flowing). Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

I can’t tell without the file but it might be better to flow onto an approximated deformable cylinder.

As Jim suggests the problem may be due to using an exact cylinder as the target. Exact cylinders are non-rational in the circumferential direction which can cause problems when flowing. You could try rebuilding the cylinder with 8, 16 or 24 points in the circumferential direction depending on how accurate the cylinder needs to be.
