hello,
i have two meshes which i wanted to merge together in order to print it as as as model in a 3d printer. the problem is that i have many holes in the meshes and the base is not solid - which make a lot of problem with the 3d printer and needing for supports. i tried multiple ways in order to fix it - i tried to bake it to rhino and extrude it - but still got the holes, i tried to make a solid extrusion and with mesh boolean split/ difference to have a solid base and to fill the holes in the meshes…and other ways that i can’t remember now. i need that the merge of the meshes will have a thickness of 5mm at least so that the printer will be able to print it and also have a base of 5mm, how do i do it? thanks in advance
i am attaching the grasshopper code if it my help and two sketches
thanks a lot
