Hello everybody, im stucked on this definition and i would really appreciate if you guys could help me.
I have this icosahedron
and want to reach this motion on every cell i got. One way ive tried to do so is by defining from rhino each triangle and the define the motion. But as there might be more than 1000 triangles, that seems too complicated. Im attaching rhino file and gh files. Thannks in advance for any help.Interesting.
Not quite sure that I understand what you’d like to achieve though.
In “sit_1.gh” you have a couple of thousand triangles.
And in “sit_2.gh” you have modeled this green opening that’s in you’re picture.
In the middle of the large red pentagons 5 triangular surfaces meet and you would like to find all five places where this happens. (Right now you are referencing those 5 surfaces in the beginning of “sit_2.gh”).
Is this right, or are there other places where you would like to place those green openings?
Anyway, if you are looking for the midpoints of the pentagons, here is one way of doing it.
