FilletEdge observation

Hi @Pascal,

when using _FilletEdge in the Rhino 6 Beta i’ve found one minor issue. After window selecting multiple edges, i’ve found that i want to remove some of the the selected edges using window selection while CTRL is down. This works but the highlighting of the edges seems to show me other (unselected) edges first, then refreshes and removes the edges in the selection window from the hightlight.

Another small wish would be to keep the ShowRadius=No option preserved once set. When hundrets of edges are selected the radii realy can get obtrusive and the conduit slows down the display drastically.

Hi Clement - thanks, I see the extra edge flash as well - I’ll see if that can be tuned up. I see about the radius display- I do not know if that is in the cards since you need them to make any edits, but perhaps there is another way…

Thanks Pascal. While trying to fillet a few thousand edges i noticed another difference compared to V5. If i just window select edges over the whole part, it does not properly deselect some of the tangent edges which where created using previous fillets.

I will not do edit this

Right! =) no, I get that, it’s just that that is currently the mechanism - there is no other… I guess we could keep that ShowRadius option available. The command line is already stupidly long, but that might be the quickest way out for now - ‘now’ probably not being V6 as this would be a significant UI change. But I’ll get the request onto the pile, and at least there will be more than zero hope.
