Dear @sfp and @menno

At least Sam seams to be hungry.

# kissing tori

filletSrf does not find this green surface which is a fillet from a torus to a plane.
my guess it has to do with some intersection / pull issue as at the end the surface that is not found should share an edge with the first tori.
(only somehow similar to [this topic](https://discourse.mcneel.com/t/boolean-with-pipes/200748) - all examples are about tori that do intersect - or fail to…)

instead we get his mess

trying filletSrf on a part of the surface

hier comes the nutrients:
changing U-V-N at least part of the surface is found !

for the kissing tori, after changing UV:
filletSrf preview looks promissing

final result fails

starting digging i also had some strange pull results with the center curve / circle of the searched torus pulled towards the thinner torus.
this pull result also changed with changing UVN…
but could not repeat.

this geometry is taken from this fillet challenge:

> Dear everybody, dear commutity, dear mc neel This is a test / exam I asked my students (4th (overall) Semester (2nd Semester with Rhino), Product-Design) to check, whether they see the underlaying geometry and, if they can model this object in Rhino V7 Mac and PC. I gave them 120 minutes to model it. I just designed this handle only for the purpose of this test: pdf [handle\_2022.pdf](https://discourse.mcneel.com/uploads/short-url/s8mprlXAWv5oQkbRwnknjxWdnNm.pdf) (705.3 KB) I did not find a pure solid, boolean\*\*, \_FilletEdge Solution. My approach uses su…

where my students should learn to see a revolve is a better approach then a fillet.

hier is more intersection / pull stuff:
