Fill the gap between closed lines/Curves using surface

It might be a silly question.I’m trying to fill the gap between closed lines/curves with surface. So i started creating a plane surface over it and trimmed it but one side i got the result what i need to achieve but for the other side I’m facing the problem while trimming it i don’t know why it’s happening. Is there any solution to it.
