Feature suggestion: ability to disable the Grid forever in Document Properties

Hi,

I am new to this forum, but a Rhino user since 2000.
It would be great if in future releases the user could choose to disable all Grid related functions in the Document Properties panel. I never use it and have to deactivate Show grid lines & Show grid axes everytime I start a new scene before starting to work.

I think there was a workaround where one could customize a “sample” scene and open this one every time, but somehow it never made it into the workflow.

Am I alone with this suggestion?

If this is not the correct subforum it would be great if a mod could move it where it make more sense.
Thanks.

for example: “A Sample empty”
The next time you open Rhino, New> Choose your template,snap06%2011-7-2019
…and check the box as shown.

You’re welcome.
