This is one I have requested in various text processing applications but here it goes again.
- Have an application setting that is type faces that Rhino will display. Display all the typefaces available on the system and allow the user to select or deselct typefacesin that list.
- In places where the user selects typefaces to use within a Rhino file, only display the typefaces selected in the application settings.
- Set the application default to the 20 or so latin typefaces.
The reason for this is so that the user will not have to select from among hundreds of non-latin type faces that he will never use. My system has 583 type faces. Nearly all of these are for non-Western alphabets or music that that I will never use in Rhino.
Restricting Rhino to a limited number of user configurable typefaces would make selection much easier and this could easily be configurable.
