Related to that last post, I’ve been using the beam and column tool to draw structural lumber and it’s typical to draw an X in section from each corner in cross sections of lumber to differentiate structural elements from trim, etc. I’m sure you’re familiar, but just in case, here’s an example.

As a workaround, I can imagine a beam from a Grasshopper style that generates 2 surfaces along the beam path, forming an X, so they show that cross when sectioning the beam:
