Basically what’s in the title - a request to enable sub-object selection from a mouse button.
This is one of the few often used maneuvers that I haven’t been able to consolidate to a programmable mouse button. (tried programming “ctrl-shift” to a macro but the mouse driver doesn’t allow this combo)
Rhino 9 Beta has an option for activating an automatic sub-object selection accessible from one of the buttons at the bottom selection toolbar.
Not sure if this button could be switched by a macro or a mouse button, though.
Interesting, hmm… looking for that in the Beta, I wasn’t finding it - except for a mention in the new Selection Filters? (oops, now Beta is crashing on update attempts so I’ll have to look at it again later)

That’s an option in the selection filters. This is not something that is new in Rhino 9.
