Dear Rhino Development Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request an enhancement to the Bake functionalities within the Content Cache feature in Rhino 8. While the inclusion of Bake capabilities is greatly appreciated and has significantly improved our workflow, there are certain limitations that, if addressed, could further enhance the utility of this feature.
Currently, the Content Cache allows us to Bake certain types such as Blocks, which is very helpful. However, there are other types that are crucial to our design and documentation process that are not yet supported. Specifically, I would like to request the ability to Bake the following:
- Groups: This would allow for better management and manipulation of grouped objects within our models.
- Model Views: Enabling this would streamline the process of saving and sharing specific viewpoints and configurations, which is essential for collaborative projects.
These enhancements would provide us with more flexibility and efficiency in our design processes, particularly in complex projects where grouping and specific view configurations are frequently used.
Thank you for considering these requests. I look forward to the continued evolution of Rhino and appreciate all the hard work the development team puts into making it such a powerful tool.
Best regards,
Yuko
