ikr, would take 27 yrs for $10k to pay off 
but almost looks like it gives you permission to make feature requests or something.
that $360/yr looks appealing though. I might consider trying it out.
I’ve been using PrePoMax this last months, it is pretty good, it uses Calculix as its solver, there are some advanced stuff locked behind some direct file configuration, but other than that , it has been working very very fine for me.
