Fast way to employ blocks?

I’m looking for a way to employ a drawing block quickly. let’s stay I have a scale figure I use all the time in an architectural drawing, or a basic stove i use as a placeholder in housing units. Is there a way I can call this up quickly, ideally just by typing an alias and clicking to place?

Hi Paul -

You can make a macro for “Insert” with either the name of the block definition that already is in your file (in your custom start-up template, for example) or the path to the file on disk. You can also add a folder with your block files to the Libraries panel and drag and drop from there.
In Rhino 8, the Block Definitions panel allows you to directly drag and drop from that panel.
