Fading Ridges

I am trying to recreate the bottom section of this product where the ridges fade into the piece.

My initial process involved blending the hexagon and circular surface, followed by filleting the surface.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a better way of completing this task.

Hello - I’d make a loft from the angled object to the cylinder - you might be able to do it all as one, I did each facet here. Then MatchSrf , or ask for tangency in the loft command.
