Face Slope of Mesh with Thickness?

Hi all,

I have to create some slope diagrams and I found some useful definitions here on the forum. But, they all seem to work the surface-like meshes instead of with closed meshes.

From the image you can see how the underside faces get all red, because their normal is pointing down.

If you want to check for faces which have normals close to either Z or -Z,
you could check both and take the minimum

Or simpler would be to check absolute value of the Z component of the normal
