Extrusions and Selection of BrepVertex

The question related to rhino plugin selection.
I know that extrusion have no vertices.

Nevertheless is it possible to bypass somehow the type of extrusion and convert it to an ordinary brep when running this command?

            //Select  Vertex
            Rhino.DocObjects.ObjRef objref_vertex;
            var rc_vertex = Rhino.Input.RhinoGet.GetOneObject("Select Vertex", false, Rhino.DocObjects.ObjectType.BrepVertex, out objref_vertex);
            if (rc_vertex != Rhino.Commands.Result.Success)
                return rc_vertex;

Probably, this can help you:

There are more types in C++;

What does Dale mean by:
Rhino object picker “can” treat extrusions like Breps, since extrusions can be represented as Breps

I admit I didn’t understand.
but I understand that I could play with the C++ filter values to get what I needed.

Hi @Petras1,

Most users might not now or notice the difference between Breps and Extrusions. So Rhino can treat them the same when picking. If you use the ObjectType. PolysrfFilter and select an extrusion, the picker will create a proxy Brep for you and return it as part of the ObjRef returned if successful.

This fanciness does not extent to Brep vertices, however. There isn’t a way to pick non-existent extrusion vertices - sorry.
