Extrusion + solid difference

Hi,
I am trying to make these extrusions solid to then do solid difference and make holes for bolts. Would you have any suggestions about how to do it or should I try sth else?

Cap Holes if you are extruding circles? Or make the circles a surface before extruding.

ow do you do surface from circle before extruding?

Boundary Surface is the easiest way but I would use Cylinder and Cap Holes for this, then Move along the length axis into position if necessary.
