Extrusion Problem

Hi all,

I have a problem with extrusions in Rhino 6.
When I extrude a large grid of closed curves Rhino freezes for a few minutes.
Also when I try to move or modify the extruded object the same happens.
As soon as I explode the geometry and join it again to get a closed polysurface everything works fine.

I also tried it with Rhino 5 and I had no problems.

Is there a way to solve this issue in Rhino 6?
