Problem started with Rhino7 reset to default >I think<. I’ve always used top view in perspective view to extrude with no problem. Problem is intermittent.
Hello - if all the input curves are not planar and not in parallel planes, extruding will revert to the CPlane normal. I would check all the inputs - feel free to post a file and I’ll have a look.

Thanks! Found a couple of bad point alignments. Fixed extrude issue.
