Extrude curve straight result has no osnap centre

extrude curve straight

try finding its centre, osnap fails.

then use surface from 3 or 4 corner points on it, then that DOES have a centre.

Hi Steve - ConvertExtrusion or Explode your extruded line to make it a surface rather than an extrusion object.

Ok will do.
its not quite a surface then, until exploded.

Dont recall coming across this before.

No, by default, ExtrudeCrv makes “lightweight extrusion” objects.
