Hello. I have been trying to make a door legend using grasshopper and was wondering how I can extract families that are actually being used in the model. I want a script that can automatically update the legend when a new family (ex. doors) is being used. Sorry if this is such an easy script. I am a beginner.

You can gather all the Door Types used in a model with the Query Elements Component.
There aren’t any native components for the rest of the workflow you are describing. Please see the guide for further info.
