Hello,
I am projecting lettering onto a solid and would like to round it off. I always have big problems with the Fillet Edge function, it either doesn’t work or has high calculation times. Now I have the idea of using the Pipe function to create pipes along the outer edges, which then represent the rounding. My problem is that I don’t know how to extract the outer edges. The font that I project onto a solid “comes out” on the back, which is exactly where I want to round the edges, on the backside. I had the idea of using the Contour component to save the outline as a curve, but I can’t get the component to run properly. The problem is that the surface is curved. Alternatively, I had the idea that I use Brep Edges to extract the edges of the font and create a center line between the edges and then create pipes around them. Do any of you have an idea what I can do?
